“Oiseau de Proie”

Oiseau de proie (French for “bird of prey”)

A Radio Control version of the Santos Dumot’s 14BIS gives us a good sample on how its mechanism must have worked in its first fly in 1906. A nice and smooth takeoff and landing, and an unexpected maneuverability at the birth of the aviation era.
